The approach I take in my counseling practice is that each person’s experience is unique, I focus on establishing a foundation of trust and rapport to make sure my clients feel seen and heard. From there, I incorporate a variety of tools and theoretical orientations to meet my clients where they are at and serve them in getting to their next chapter. Some of the approaches that I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe that everyone is capable of creating the life they want and work with my clients to empower them to achieve their goals. Some of my favorite activities include: spending time with my family, trying new recipes, running or hiking, planning vacations or small day trips to explore new places, and reading or watching science fiction stories.
